[Support request] Google ranking after switch from Avada to GP

Hi,

I have changed our website (see link below) from Avada to GP on 28.10.2019.
The look of the website and the content are the same.
The speed has improved fantastically (for mobile: 18% to 98% by PageSpeed Insights!).

The problem is that the Google Ranking has gotten worse now and is falling down!

We fell in Germany for a keyword: “Pick by Light” from position 5.3 to position 9.4.

Whats wrong? Can you help me to find that problem?

Hi there,

When it comes to themes and SEO, all we can really do is make sure things are light and fast, which is why we focus so much on that area. The results are based more on your content and the current algorithm that Google is using.

If your content hasn’t changed, and you weren’t doing anything special in Avada, I assume what you’re seeing is a normal fluctuation of the results.

Of course, you should dig into your search console data to see if anything stands out.
