If I edit a page the Google maps element is available. However, the GM element is NOT available with the footer widgets. How do I get GM to display as an option with the footer widgets.
Hi there,
Not sure what you mean? Google maps shouldn't be available as default element. Perhaps you are using a plugin?
Anyways, you can use the embed/iframe link from Google maps and HTML widgets to add it in footer widgets.
Let me know if this helps.
If you are in elementor and editing a page, there is a Google Map element. The same selection of elements are not available for widgets. I did find a website https://www.embedgooglemap.net/ that will generate code for you and I inserted the code into a text element and things are working.
Elementor widgets are different than default WordPress widgets.
Google maps should provide the same embed link by default too whatever works for you :)
