This may or may not be a bug, but it's frustrating nonetheless.

Specs:
WP 5.8.1
GeneratePress 3.0.4
GP Premium 2.0.3
Generateblocks Pro 1.0.4
Child Theme
localhost dev env - Laragon Full 4.0.16 | Apache 2.4.35 win64-VC15 | MySQL 5.7.24-win64 | PHP 7.4.19 Win32-vc15

So I'm wanting to use a specific Google font - 'Life Savers' and when I'm working on an element in Generateblocks I can use it by entering "Life Savers' in the field under the 'Choose Font' dropdown in the Typography section. Works like a champ.

However, when I use the WP theme customizer and am in the Typography section, I try to use the Font Family search/dropdown Google fonts to find 'Life Savers' it doesn't appear and there are a couple others that are missing as well. It's like the Typography font selection is pulling an outdated static font list or something.

I thought it might have been the child theme, but I switched over to the main GeneratePress theme and still nothing.

I'd like to really set my fonts in the Customizer and only set fonts in the GenerateBlocks blocks as needed (which would probably be rarely, if ever)

Hi there,

in the current version of GP, we only load the most popular Google fonts to the Customizer.
You can add more fonts using the snippet provided here:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/customizing-the-google-font-list/

In GP 3.1 you will have access to ALL google fonts in the new typography module - see here:

https://generatepress.com/generatepress-3-1-global-colors-dynamic-typography/

The final release will be ready in the next week or two.

That's awesome!

Glad to hear that !

I have version 3.1.3 and the new typography module that is seen in the video is not there when I open the typography section of Customizer. Is it located somewhere else?
