Is it possible to change (or integrate) the theme navigation search with Google Custom Search this way (example https://www.w3schools.com/css/)?

Hi there,
I’m not 100% sure. If Google allows you to alter the HTML markup/CSS of their navigation, then it should be possible.
Do they have integration instructions I can look at?
Im also interested in this to increase my SERP rankings…
