Google Analytics data gone after updating GP

Hi guys,

My Google Analytics is not displaying any visitor data to my website and I suspect it might be connected to me updating my GP. Have you any idea why this happened and how it can be resolved? I am not 100% that's the cause but I can think of nothing else. And the data stopped showing after the update.

Hi there,

How was your analytics code added? The only way an update would have removed it is if it was added to the core theme files.

An update-safe way of adding it would be to use Elements: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/

You should be able to use the wp_head hook to insert it.
