Hi Guys,

can you please advise the best way to use google adsense on my site. I have google adsense account activated and now planning to put the ads on my site.

However, Can you please let me know:
1) should i use a plugin for managing the ads.
2) How can i place ads within my post - do i need to use any hook element etc. ?
3) Should i configure google to manage and place ads on my site automatically and i do not have to do any thing ?

the best method if you need to place it within the post content and other areas is to use the Ad Inserter plugin:

Question: My site tests on Google pagespeeds and GTmetrix were really good. Google pageinsights mobile 80 desktop 96

GTmetrix : site load time 1 sec

But as soon as I added Google AdSense the stats are really poor now. Do you know a way to keep AdSense and also not affect the site performance ?

You can use a plugin like Flying Scripts ( in wordpress.org ) to defer the loading of 3rd party scripts like Adverts.
