Global Layout and Page Hero doesn't work on author profile pages

Hi there,
I have set up a global page hero with dynamic content and back ground image and ticked the "use fallback image" for the pages that I cannot insert a featured image. But when I open the author profile page the page hero background and dynamic title is there but fallback image cannot be seen. Is there a way to insert page hero (not necessarily with a dynamic image) to have the site logo on the top followed by the main menu and name of the author using functions php in child theme?

out of interest what happens if you create a Hero specifically for the Author Archives and just use a static image ?

PS: I did add the "author archives" as location to the main Global Hero element but it did not work there and it did work after creating a seperate one :))
