Global Content Container not Working

Hey guys, I'm using the GeneratePress Dev theme for my portfolio freelance writer site. I'm having an issue with the container for content. It's set to 1100 px in the customizer but doesn't seem to work.

When I change the width in the customizer preview window, it seems to work as intended, reducing the width of the content. But that change doesn't show on the live website. As a result, my content is stretching all the way across the page even on the biggest screens.

The only containers that seem to work are those I assign manually on each page through the page builder, but that's rather cumbersome. I want the content to be at most 1100 or 1300 px all across the site.

Is there some CSS I can add or did I make an error somewhere?

Thank you

Hi there,

the Dev sites uses a Layout Element to set all Pages to Full Width

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

In Appearance > Elements - edit the Full Width Pages element.
Now you can either change the Display Rules from All Pages to the original site import pages, or exclude your new pages from this.

Exactly what I needed, thank you David

You're welcome
