    Hey ! ,

    So i just installed Generatepress yesterday and i have no idea what i’m doing. I’m trying to do a design similar to cloudliving.com but i have no idea how to go about it.

    It seems i have to also purchase a page builder plugin for customization , right?

    Please i need help with this , anyone?

    Hi there,

    Which part are you trying to duplicate specifically?

    You don’t really need a page builder for layout like that.

    The header/navigation section can be done like this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/#navigation-as-header

    The next section can be done like this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-overview/

    Then the blog posts customization are here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-content-layout/

    Let me know if this helps.

    Yum , very helpful.

    Was able to get the top part , the only thing left is the bottom (grid list of posts). Any help?

    Are you wanting to insert posts into a static page?

    If so Tom’s WP Show Posts plugin is your best bet: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-show-posts/

    Just installed the plugin and it worked but the homepage looks messy. Any way to make it look like as neat as the screenshot above? Perhaps some css customization.

    I’ve edited my first comment to include the site’s URL. You can have a look

    Not sure what you mean by it’s messy?

    I see 3 columns line up nicely.

    1) The styling is a little awkward. I want each item (post) to be in a box

    2) Posts on homepage is showing last published instead of last updated date.

    Also , where can i include my google analytics code in the header?

    1) Try this CSS:

    .wp-show-posts-columns .wp-show-posts-inner {
        border: 2px solid #000000;
    }
    .wp-show-posts-image.wpsp-image-left {
        margin-right: 0;
    }

    2) It’s currently not showing any dates? Maybe try this:
    https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/displaying-last-updated-date-time-on-posts/#post-434328

    GA code: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/wp-head/

    Please separate your topics next time. Thanks!
