Getting mobile version of site to not use header image?

I wonder if it is possible to get a site's mobile version to NOT display the page header image and just have it show the site title and/or tagline instead? I find that the mobile version of my site makes the header image so small you cannot read the text (which is part of the header image).

Hi James,

Headers with smallish text can be a pain on mobile.

I've been playing around with my header and I decided to go with just text only and remove the page header background. I'm satisfied with the results (for now). :)
