[Support request] Getting error ‘item.content:encoded is required’ when validating RSS feed

Hey guys, I’m getting my RSS feed validated for use on Smart News using the SmartFormat Validator (https://sf-validator.smartnews.com/url). I’m getting the error ‘item.content:encoded is required’.

My feed is: https://f1fall.com/feed/

Please can I get some help with this?

Hi Alex,

This does not sound like an issue caused by GP as the RSS feed is handled by WP core.

Can you confirm that by activating a Twenty series WP theme?

I also saw quite a few search results when Googling “item.content:encoded is required” so it might be worth a read.

Let me know if I’m missing something here.
