Generatepress.woff2 loads despite Typography module is OFF

Hi,
I am running the latest version of Generatepress and Generatepress premium. I do not have the typography module activated at all.
however, when running gtmetrix on m posts, i can see "generatepress.woff2" font blocking the render for half a second.
I am not sure what it is used for, and I am not using any special fonts.
most of my visitors are from countries with extremely poor internet speeds, and 0.1sec makes a difference.
can you please advise if this font is necessary or there is a way to turn it off?

Hi there,
Those are the default font icons used throughout the theme such as submenu arrow and menu toggle.
You can actually use SVG option now:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/svg-icons/
The option is in Customizer > General.
