generatepress.woff2 canceled

Hi,
since yesterday I've following problem with gtmetrix speed results:
1) generatepress.woff2 is canceled or incomplete. (size 0 KB)
this causes more than 1,83 sec. timelost.
Can you pls assist? Thanks

simplest fix is to go to Customizer > General and change the Icon Type to SVG. This will remove that font request.

The Icon Type is fixed from the beginning as SVG. And I didn't change that.
But since today I have this issue.
What else can it be?
If its set to SVG then the font request should not be being made.
Try clearing any plugin / server caches to see if that resolves the issue.
Send me a link yo look at after the caches have been cleared so i can see if the request is being made. If it isn't then chances are GT Metrix has cached the page.

To clarify, are you trying to replace the default GeneratePress icons? If yes, disable the default and add in fontello fonts using CSS.
If its just about the delay issue, you'll have to preload the fontello font file.
Some optimization plugins can do it for you.
