I just got started with your theme for a client and I’m trying to set up Meta Slider to have a full width slider just under the nav bar similar to here (https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/meta-slider/). That thread gets me to here (http://www.stengleinprojects.com/images/properSpacing.png) which looks exactly how I want it (thanks!).

The problem comes when I try to view the mobile page, and it turns into this (http://www.stengleinprojects.com/images/improperSpacing.png). I’m not really sure what is causing it but it could be that I’ve done both this (https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/social-networks-buttons-on-nav-menu-bar/) and this (https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/navigation-search-bar/) to the nav bar as well and the right aligned icons wrap to the next line instead of causing the menu to switch to the mobile mode (I’ll start a separate thread for that unless they’re related).

Any suggestions you have would be awesome! I know that you probably want to be able to see the page itself, so if you cant give any helpful suggestions without let me know and I’ll put it up on a Digital Ocean instance temporarily (it’s on a local vagrant box right now).

Update: I did a bit more testing and the issue only appears on the mobile version of the nav menu once the responsiveness kicks in to change the view.

    Hi Mark,

Which part do you mean? the gap above the slider? Or that the menu itself is gone?

Being able to see the site live would definitely help if it’s possible.

    Let me know πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for getting back to me! I’ve set up a test server at http://107.170.67.198/ and it should have the site as it stands now.

I think that the div for the slider is overlapping the menu, but I’m sure that address will help explain what I mean. Make your browser window really narrow and it’ll be a good demonstration.

Ah, currently you have the slider wrapped in this class: ignore-xy-spacing

Instead, make it this class: ignore-x-spacing

    That should do it πŸ™‚

Awesome thanks! That fixes the issue. I’ve got one more related to the nav bar, but I’m going to start a new thread to keep this on topic.
