generatepress + elementor = gray outs instead of images

Hi Tom,
I just added my first user to my site. When I logged in using the new user's credentials as a test, instead of the different images, I found greyed out boxes. Header, sections, even in elementor's slider section.
In building the site on a localhost, and at the web address (using an admin login credentials) all images came through just fine.
I'm guessing it's one of two things:
1) the new user's role is set to 'none'.
2) I caught how you said gp's section option can't be used with elementor » I checked and I had gap's section option selected, so I unselected it » saved + empty cache » didn't work...So, is it some other gp sector I'm missing?
*PS. a couple of weeks back you were in looking at the site » then I had your role as 'subscriber'...your credentials remain the same.
Hi there,
Can you show me a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Are those images added using Elementor?
So your admin account can see the images, and the other account can't?
Hi Tom,
The following also sent via email:
Can you show me a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
» yes see attached ‘no images’ pdf » images presented in order from login and then from top to bottom of screen
Are those images added using Elementor?
» yes.
» for additional context I’ve attached a section pdf (‘generatepress settings’) to show you the gp settings
So your admin account can see the images, and the other account can’t?
» That is correct » now confirmed with two other accounts
» account #1 has no role assigned
» account #2 has subscriber role assigned
Have you checked with Elementor support as it’s their plugin providing the images/content?
Yes. your previous response gave me a Homer Simpson "Dugh!" moment. So I made a inquiry that is pending. I'll revert when I hear back.
Sounds good :)
Hi Tom,
∞ the image not showing problem has been resolved
∞ the problem occurred when I used themes backupbuddy app to migrate from a localhost to my .com address.
∞ while waiting to here back from the elmentor folk, I found their article on 'replace url' feature.
∞ I tried it and it worked
Thanks again for your help
Great to hear :)
