Generatepress Configuration Freezing

Hey,
When I installed the plugin in a Wordpress site today, I attempted to configure. On the configuration page, any feature I click on just shows the circling icon and never finishes. When I attempt to put in my license, it does the same thing.The activate buttons just change from the word Activate to a black circle that spins on top of the button.
Resolved! It was a Wordpress installation issue.
How did you fix it ? I have the same problem.
We uninstalled Wordpress and re-installed it. Everything worked fine after that.
That worked for me too. If it had been an older site, that would have been horrible.
