Hello,

Pls open the the link provided in private box, as you can see the look of elementor cart is being affected by generatepress I guess, so can you pls tell if we are using elementor header then how can we avoid this conflict? Which options in generatepress we need to disable so that we don't face these conflicts?

Hi there,

Have you resolved this?

I just added a product, click on the basket icon and it just leads me to the cart page.

Let me know :)

Hey Leo,

No, it was not resolved I disabled Elementor header and enabled generatepress header, It seems generate press cart or header customisations are conflicting with elementor, can you pls tell that which settings we need to disable for generatepress so that it does not conflict if using elementor header?

Hello there,

In Appearance > Customize > Layout > WooCommerce, can you try disabling “Display cart in menu”?

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hey Fernando,

Its already disabled still the same issue, pls check the private box.

Hi there,

how is it meant to look ?

Hey David,

Pls see the private box I have shared you link to a demo

Does it look the same if you disable the Woocommerce module in Appearance > GeneratePress ?

Hey David,

yes, its looking same even after that.

So there issue is still there without the Woo module?
Which sounds odd, as GP only loads its woo related code if that module is enabled.

Hey David,

I had a word with elementor higher support team they are basically developers and they wrote me this:

"I've just changed the theme to Hello and I see that the menu cart widget looks good. Also, I see that the Mini Cart template is Disabled in Elementor settings, in this case, it will use styles from the theme and WooCommerce instead. But with the Hello theme, it looks like this - (see image in private box) so it looks like a Theme compatibility issue.

I've created a compatibility report, however, not sure if this can be fixed soon. It currently doesn't work well with the Generate Press theme. Sadly, I can't find any Theme Settings to fix this, so the user would like to contact the theme's support team and notify them regarding this conflict issue."

Hello,

I am not sure why they wrote that, but I enabled the Elementor menu in settings and disabled Generatepress one, I see its showing now proper. But still if your team can understand what they are trying to tell then you can check your compatibility and accordingly fix if there is anything.

So is it working as you would like now ?

Hey David,

Yes all good :)

Glad to hear that!
