GeneratePress active & second theme inactive

I have a small? problem. I want to convince a customer of GeneratePress and I told him that you can almost exactly replicate his site, which is built with an Eikra theme.
I have the problem that Eikra has some custom elements in the WPBakery builer, which of course are gone when I deactivate the Eikra theme and activate GeneratePress. (I also have a WP Bakery builder in GeneratePress).
Now I don't know the code that accesses the scripts from the inactive theme. Like for example with the child theme. Can you help me further?

Sounds like this is something you will need to check with the support team of the previous theme?

I recommend the client to change his theme against GeneratePress because GeneratePress is much, much better.
So the support team of the previous theme will definitely not help me.
I am more a designer and I don't know anything about programming but I know that it is a very small problem for a programmer. GeneratePress is the main theme and is active. Here I want to use a script from an installed theme, which is set to inactive.
For clarification I wrote the example with the child theme: An installed child theme fetches scripts from the inactive parent theme using the function.php page.

it's about WPBakery with Custom Elements build in the theme.The Custom Elements are no longer displayed in the PageBuilder when the theme is inactive.
GeneratePress is a super-fantastic theme, which we would always recommend - but the old theme is incredibly slow and heavy - it should be banned to sell such crap.

I am not that experienced with WP Bakery but my thoughts would be:
1. Can you recreate those Custom Elements directly in WP Bakery ?
2. Does WP Bakery allow you to display those elements using Shortcodes or PHP Functions?
If so then you could recreate them and add them using the GP Hook Element:

This will allow you to insert that content within the Theme templates and set where you want them displayed eg. this Custom Element on a Single Post in a specific category.
Just a thought.

thank you for your efforts. I think that I can't get to the point to keep the design of the old theme 100%.
Now the client has to decide how to proceed.

Sorry we couldn't provide an exact solution - its very difficult for us to ascertain what another theme may be doing to provide 'custom' functionality.
I hope you find a way forward :)
