GenerateBlocks / YOAST - highlighting sections

Hi there,
Hashbeer brought up an issue in this post ...
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/yoast-seo-readability-analysis-not-highlighting-sections/
...which is similar to mine. Fortunately I have used GenerateBlocks and related Containers from the very beginning ;-).
When I activate the desired option in the Yoast SEO section of the page (see screenshot 1) I still don't see the desired sections being highlighted (see screenshot 2)
What am I missing?
Many thanks,
Jan
Hi there,
if you use a core Heading Block instead of a GB Headline Block - does Yoast recognise it?
If so it maybe Yoast is only parsing core blocks. If thats the case then i would suggest asking Yoast.
On another note - if you're not using the GB Headline Block to apply specific styles in the editor then we recommend just using the core Heading Block. The GB Headline block should only really be used when you want to style text differently to the theme styles.
Hi David,
thanks for getting back. You hit the nail on the head.
When I use the core Heading Block Yoast is able to highlight the respective element (see screenshot).
Your additional explanations regarding the GB Headings Block are mich appreciated also.
Best regards,
Jan
Glad to be of help!
