Paul
This worked for me in the past but on this development website not all the terms show.
You can see in the dropdown menu 9 terms from Crafts.
But in the hero section the list of terms aren’t all there also.
How can it work so they all show?
Best regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
The website in question is asking for a username and password to to view it. Can you provide it as well in the Private information field?

May we know what you’re trying to achieve for the category page? Are you trying to show all menu items under Craft?
I believe the structure you have currently is for a single post, not a category page.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
what you’re seeing there is the Terms for just the latest post in that archive.
And the reason for that is currently, the List of Terms is only applicable to a Single Post, and when applied to an archive the ID that WP fetches to retrieve the terms is for the latest post.Today, you would need to write a custom shortcode to display the terms.
I can help with that if you require ?I assume we are dealing with a list of child terms for the current parent archive?

Hi David,
Yes, that’s right, I think the idea is to display the child categories using the grouped buttons. However, I’ve seen there are many child categories, so if there is a way to select specific category ID’s that would be the best way I think.
I also looked at how I did it before, and you can see it in this example – https://kitchenambition.com/cooking-school/
– was with tags not categories. So I see now why it’s not working in the way I thought.Best regards,
Paul

Hi David,
Actually don’t worry about it if you haven’t wrote it.
I was speaking about this further with the site owner.
They said they want to use the method with tags instead.
Also, if I run into this again, next time I can simply use button links.
Thanks anyway and I will be in touch again.
Best regards,
Paul
