Generate_After_Logo Content

I used generate_after_content to add <div class="header-info"> (with content) to the right of my logo.

My wish was for this div to expand for the remainder of the space.

Problem is, .navigation-branding will not expand beyond 50% of .inside-navigation.

How do I expand .navigation-branding beyond this point?

I believe using the header widget area is the better option here:

Can you give that a shot first?

Then we can provide some CSS.
