Generate Press with Title and Nofollow Links Plugin

Hello, I am currently using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/title-and-nofollow-for-links/ with Generate Press. I check the boxes to nofollow the links and open them in a new tab, but when I hit publish, the open in a new tab box becomes unchecked. Then I have to go back and redo them all and it works permanently, but it's still a big time expense. Could this be a setting in Generate Press or something like that? Any ideas?
