Generate Press with Elementor error
5 replies · Started by Raphael on June 22, 2022
Hello,
I recently made a change on my site's home page, in Elementor and shortly after updating the page, all other pages on the site have been broken. This means that the formatting and elements of the page have disappeared. Why is that? It has come up multiple times now and goes away when I edit each page and just refresh.
Best regards
Hi there,
what makes you think the error is related to GeneratePress ?
Can you share a link to a 'broken' page on the site ?
Hei,
i can´t really explain it, but when i was trying to open the destroyed website, all the elements were ok again.
So for the moments its fine, but unfortunatly i do again not know where the problem came from. But thanks for the help =)
Best regards
If the content was being displayed without any styling, so your layout looked broken, then its most likely a caching or server issue. If it happens again, Right Click > Inspect the page to open the Developers tools, in the Console tab look to see if there are any 400 errors. It will help you pinpoint the issue.
Glad to be of help
Thank you very much for the help!
When i go to that place, i can see four times the same warning with the yellow (!) signal, that says: The resource https://manaverse.de/wp-content/plugins/social-icons-widget-by-wpzoom/assets/font/socicon.woff?v=4.2.6 was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.
Has this any negative impact or meaning? Should i do something about it`?
Love to hear from you.
No thats not an issue.
Its just a suggestion thats saying you don't need to load this thing ( font ) so early in the load.
You may want to raise it with WP Zoom social icons developer.
Or you can ignore it :)
