General best practice when using Elementor

What is the best practice for coloring archive pages? Should I use the Elementor for layout and GP for colors and options? Or does it matter? Sorry this question is so basic.
Hi there,
my general rule if i have to use Elementor is to disable the global colors and fonts in Elementor and use the Customizer settings. Its just so much easier to keep things consistent and make quick global changes.
