Hi,

i am trying to create a 4 piece grid - 2 rows, 2 colums.
I want every 2nd field to look the same - like 4 fields of a chessboard (first row: white, black field, 2nd black, white field - all 4 touching in the middle). Also i want some space between text and edge (so the text is not on the edge)

I tried several times - selected 50% containers - but can't make the 4 edges "touch" each other.

Is it possible with GB? I would bet on that.
What is the best way to create such a 4-square "board"?

Hi there,

You should be able to create a grid and add 4 items.

Then make each item 50% wide, and remove the horizontal gap.

Then in each grid you'll have a Container block waiting for you, which you can use to change the background/text colors.

Let me know :)

thx a lot :D - the horizontal gap was the problem.

Also if anyone wants to do the same - a smart option gb has:
As you got
white black
black white
for desktop

for mobile you will get
white
black
black
white

check out the "order" option for mobile -> there you can set numbers. So simply set an order for 1-4 and you can get black, white alternating.

thx for this nice plugin.

Glad you like it! :)
