GB Block Image spacing stopped working (CSS)
11 replies · Started by Patrick on December 29, 2022
Hi there,
Recently, I got help with some CSS for my site to add 30px of space after every GB Block Image. I added it via Simple CSS and it worked perfectly. This has stopped working (and I tested it on another site and it didn't work there either).
I don't think I've changed anything - the code below is what I used. Has anything changed in the recent GP updates that means I need to change something here? Hope all are well!
}
.entry-content .gb-block-image {
margin-bottom: 30px;
}

Hi there,
Any chance you can link us to the page in question?
You can use the private information field:

Let me know :)
Yes, of course. The CSS is (hopefully) applicable to every page on my site - I've linked one in the private field below.
Please disable your caching plugin so I can see the source code.
Thanks!
Hi Leo,
I am sorry, I don't knowingly have a caching plugin installed. Is there a common one that you come across often that people have on - I'm happy to disable anything you need....
Patrick
I can't actually tell the name of the caching plugin your site is using unfortunately - which is unusual.
Can you go through your plugins list and make sure any caching or optimization plugins are disabled?
Let me know :)
There's something called Page Optimize which seems to be a default WP hosting plugin - I've disabled that - so hopefully it allows you in now.
Unfortunately there is still blocking it.
Are you able to disable all plugins except GP Premium and GenerateBlocks for now?
If not can you provide the login access for me to take a look from the backend?

Let me know :)
I've switched off everything apart from things crucial to the functioning of my pages (inc Lightweight Social Icons, SiteKit, Simple CSS (which is where the 30px gap is managed) and GB/GP and WP Show Posts.
What happens if you remove the extra } here?

Hi Leo,
Yes, that was it!
Have a great day and Happy New Year!
Patrick
No problem :)
Happy new year!
