Hi Tom –
This has all the potential to be a ‘duh’ moment but I’m a bit puzzled.
I had a problem whereby i had a gap between the header and content section on my page. I tracked the CSS element down to entry-content, overrode the margin settings and that worked fine.
I did a bit more searching in the support forums to see if there was a more elegant way to do this within GeneratePress (should just mention I have Elementor installed as well) and found an article about using the Disable Settings options in the Layout meta box. I took that to mean – go to the Customize option in the Appearance section of the WP dashboard, click on the Layout option and then there should be a Disable Elements section. When I do that though I don’t have a Disable Elements option. I tried resetting the plug-in options for GP Premium just to see if that would fix it but it didn’t Is there something I’m not quite getting or maybe looking in the wrong place?
Thanks in anticipation
Peter

Metaboxes are actually on the edit page/post screen as they are per page basis settings.
Are you wanting to remove the title globally? If so check out this filter:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_show_title/Let me know if this helps.
April 4, 2018 at 10:17 pm #541557PeterHi Leo –
Specifically, I do not see the disable elements option described here https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/
Is that documentation still current and if so, just to check I am looking in the right place, how would I navigate to the screen described in the documentation?
With regard to the page formatting problem, I had already turned off the page header globally and all I wanted to do was remove the white space between the navbar and page body. I’ve fixed that by removing the entry-content margin in the global css, so job done there. All that’s left is my query about why I can’t see the Disable Element option in my GeneratePress settings.
Thanks
Peter
