Hi, I set my google analytics code in a generatepress wp_head hook for the entire site, however I cannot see that this is showing up at all when I check through ‘view page source’. I have set up similar analytics code exactly the same way for one page only – http://www.hendersonstone.co.uk/dc-pension-switch/ and this shows up as I would expect. Can you tell me what the issue is please? I am using Elementor Pro and SEO Press but don’t think either of these should interfere with the hook?
    Thank you for any help,
    Nicola

    Hi there,

can you share a link to a page where the Hook isn’t working ie. no GA script added ?

Yes, do you mean a page where I have added script but it isn’t showing?
    Any page at http://www.hendersonstone.co.uk.
    Thanks,

I checked a few pages on GA Checker and in the browser tools.
GA Checker found the gtags and for example this page:

    https://www.hendersonstone.co.uk/financial-planning/

if i inspect it i can see:

Ok, so there is something there, though I don’t know how it got there and I still can’t find it myself.
However this is not what I have placed in the wp_head hook, and my query is why can’t I see this in the <head> of the website pages? Should it not be there?
    Thanks,
    Nicola

What did you add to the wp_head hook ?

And were there any other Display Rules ?

Sorry… my bad. I saw I had a user display rule set which meant I couldn’t see the code whilst logged in.
I can see it now appearing exactly where it should.
Thanks for your time, sorry again.
