    Dear support team,

we are using the GP theme and Elementor to edit page content. Page settings define the layout to “Default” and layout settings of individual containers are set to “Boxed”. The stretch container option of the containers are “disabled”. Yet on the homepage all containers appear in full-width.

We have also checked the customizer for additional CSS that may cause this unwanted behavior.

What are we missing that prevents us from switching individual containers into full-width while leaving others boxed.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Jan

    Hi,

You can check your site’s Appearance > Elements if you have a Layout Element that has any display rule location that applies a max-width to your pages.

If you didn’t find one, you can check for the inverse effect. Check for any Layout element that has any display rule location that assigns “Full width (no padding)” to the front page. You can add more display rule locations so this applies to more pages rather than just the front page.

    Hi Elvin,

this issue has been resolved in the meantime.

FYI – the root cause was in incorrect setting in Elementor.
