    Hi,

I’m building a website and I want to add a sticky call to action in the bottom on the screen. I know how to do this but the GeneratePress Layout isn’t full width.

In the “Customize” sectión you can make it full width, but the point is that I want only one block to be full width. Here in this image you can se what I mean.

    Please help me.

    Thanks!

    Hi Adrian,

Could you link us to the site in question?
You can use the private info field. Thanks!

Yeah of course, I’m running this test on the website I linked on the private section:

The section is inside the site container, so Unfortuanly it can not be full width without the whole page being full width.

Alternatively you could try another method by using our plugin Generateblocks.
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/generateblocks/

In the page editor make this page full width, add other contents in to Container blocks, set those block width to contained.

Add the sticky section into another container block and set its width to full width.

Let me know if it helps 🙂

Thank you so much, but there’s still some white space in the edges o the screen. I’ve checked the paddings and I don’t know what could be cause.

    Hi there,

Using Bootstrap on a non-bootstrap WordPress theme is going to cause issues.

It applies it CSS to common classes that theme uses. And the affect it causes is not easily overriden. If you must use Bootstrap then maybe look at this as an option:

    https://github.com/toert/Isolated-Bootstrap

It will allow you to define where the CSS is applied – so the theme can do its thing.

Thank you so much, I’m not using that solution but your answer made me think and I solved it adding some extra CSS to some elements that had been modified by this bug.

    Have a nice day

    Greetings
