    Hi,

I’m unable to get full width pages to work on my site. I’ve created a new layout element that targets my search page, content area is set to full width (no-padding) everything else has the default settings. I’m using the block editor and I’ve set the parent container to full width in the alignment options and for the block settings, I’ve also checked ‘make page full width’.

The page is still using a container, as you can see here:

    Grid-Container

I would like the page to look like this:

Any ideas what is going on?

You will need to use a Layout Element to set Search results page to Full Width:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

Archive pages don’t respond to post editor meta boxes – WP just ignores them

Thanks for help so far David,

Here is my current layout settings. As you can see, I have the layout set to full width:

The page you linked to is the Search Results page – so the Location needs to be: Search Results not: Page > Search Page

Oh yeah! I thought it would be something I had set incorrectly. Thanks for spotting that 🙂
