Full Width Images

Hi, I am using Generate Press with Wordpress and Elementor Pro template for blog pages. I want to make some blog post images full width. If I use the Full Width option in the block editor, the image immediately becomes full width in the editor. But on the live website page, it remains the same width as the text. Is there some other setting I should be changing? thanks.
Hi there,
GP's container is indeed full width on the linked page.
You'd need to check with Elementor's support to see how to make it full width.
Hope this helps!
Hi Leo, thanks for your reply. I temporarily had the page set at full width, while I was experimenting but that made the text full width too. This is what the page usually looks like. The 2 horizontal (landscape) images are set to full width, but as you can see, they don't extend beyond the text.

I'm trying to keep the text narrow and just make selected images full width. If I use FUll-Width Image in the block editor in Gutenberg, it shows the image full width images in my editing screen (ie it appears to work), but on the front end of website, the image is still constrained to the same width as the text.
Is there something else I need to set in Generate Press to allow images to extend beyond the text container?
If I was not using Elementor, how would I keep text narrow and images full width, using the Full Width Image button?
thanks
GP's container is full width here and that's all the theme can do when you are using a page builder:

Can you check with their support first? I believe there would be a simple fix on their end.
If I was not using Elementor, how would I keep text narrow and images full width, using the Full Width Image button?
Are you just referring to the top image here or all the images? If all the images then I would recommend using a block plugin like GenerateBlocks:

Hi Leo, I will investigate further. I'll contact Elementor and also try generate blocks.
thanks very much. I'll report back if I manage to do it.
Hi, just to update, I set Elementor single blog post template to a higher section width. This allowed everything to be full width. I installed the GenerateBlocks plugin and used containers to reduce the width of the text blocks. So far, so good!
thanks for your help.
No problem :)
