[Support request] Full Width Container without Sidebars above Content Container with Sidebars

I am trying to make a new homepage. I would like a full width container with no side bar above the content, but below the header. But I would like the content container below it to still have a sidebar. I’ve searched the forums and still can’t decipher how to do this.

I don’t seem to be able to create the individual sections with those options.

The container with no side bar would contain a grid with 4 featured images. And there would probably be some text.

Then, directly underneath it, I would like there to be content with a sidebar.

Is this even possible? I have GP Premium and the Generate Blocks plugin.

Hi Glenda,

It’s possible. You can try creating a Block Element – Hook. Hook it to after_header. This would be where you put your Container that’s full width.

Then, for the Content, just set the sidebar settings in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Sidebars.
