Hello,
I cannot get my homepage background header image to expand and reach the lengths of the fullscreen. The image only expands about halfway on the page, and then a white blank gap is shown on the right-hand side. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi there,
the page has room for a sidebar which is why it only covers 70% of the page.
Options:
a) Customizer > Layout > Sidebars – disable AlL the sidebars if you do not intend to use them anywhere on your site.
or
b) edit the home page and in the Layout meta box select Sidebars: Content ( No sidebar ):
