full width background color issue

Hello Support Team,
This is Kevin writing. I bought GeneratePress few days ago. And now I'm trying to remove my website from Flatsome theme to Generatepress theme.

Today when I edit the home page via Generateblocks, I met a problem that costs me several hours, that is how to set the full width background color to the "Container" Bock (which I think it is the same concept of "Section" in my previous theme)？

Now my current situation/settings is as follows:

1. First of all, I'm doing the change for my website under a staging environment.

2. I set Container Width to 1280px from Customizer settings.

3. In the Edit page(take my Home page as example), I created a "Container" block, and inside it I created a "Grid" block, then inside it another "container" block to hold a "image" as a banner, I set the Container Layout with: Container -> Full Width" and "Inner Container -> Contained Width". Then Under "Colors" checklist I selected a color under "Background" option, but it does not work as I expected.

4. What I want is set a full width background color to different sections of a page, I need section content is contained but background color is full width. Please check my website(created with Flatsome theme) "https://www.naboplastic.com/" to help understand my point, you can see the home page that I set full width white color for banner section, and a full width grey color for next section, then full width while color again for next section... So may I know how do I get the same effect like this? Should I do it by Additional Css or I missed some settings in GeneratePress theme?
