frontpage blocks

Hi Tom,
I'm using GP simple child. Is there any simple way I can modify the template to be able to have different blocks of content separated on the frontpage instead of all the main content consolidated into a single article block?
I thought I might achieve this with siteorigin pagebuilder, but it didn't work.

Any quick and easy ideas for this? If not, that's okay... just thought I'd check.
Hmm, well you could add the first part of the page in the Page Header content area (using the add-on).
Then you could put the bottom part in some footer widgets, which would also be separated.
It's a little difficult to break up the actual content, but doing the above will put them into their own sections.
