    Hi there.

I want to create a page 100vh and 100vw and there should be no overflow – as in overflow:auto or something. Is this possible with GP or GB ? Basically I do not want the overflow to come into play, but as an extra option.

What I want to achieve is a onepage that is basically just filling all of the screen and on that page have some tabs and so on. I dont care how is it achieved, page-level, blocks, container, whatever …

The user should be stuck on that page and forced to examine it – just without feeling forced πŸ™‚

    Hope it makes sense.

    Hi Jacob,

The best way to do that is to set the content container to full width:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/#where-is-it

Then use GB’s container block to build your full width sections:
    https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/container-overview/

If this doesn’t help, can you link me to an example you are trying to achieve?

    Let me know πŸ™‚

It is generally advisable to clear the G** D*** cache.

    It is working. Sorry.

Leo. Can I ask you this ? I am hijacking my own topic here πŸ™‚

Why does GP / GB not natively support three absolutely basic things: tabs, tooltips and toc. They are so basic when organizing content. I am guessing you are going to say it is due to speed, and that it is plugin territory.

Also, There should be a native way in support of mobile UX. Because when we hold our mobile in our hands – best practice, or at least good practice, is to have action-buttons in the bottom of the mobile, where our fingers are, when holding the mobile. Action-items like call, chat, send e-mail, sms, fb and so on. It should be supported no ? In GB at least

Kadence supports it. Along with Mega Menu. And other pretty essential stuff.

    Maybe it is coming ?

    Hi Jacob,

Based on my personal experience, I’ve built dozens of client sites, and none of them requires tabs/tooltips/toc. So I don’t think it’s essential for most users, as you know, we try to keep our theme as light as possible πŸ™‚

We’re thinking maybe to add tabs/accordion to GenerateBlocks in the future, but no, none of these will be added to GP.

For those mobile action buttons, can be easily added using GP’s block element hook and positioned with easy CSS.
This video demonstrate a similar idea: https://youtu.be/q9YyXSBpRR0

Many users have very simple menus, so no mega menu in GP as well.

    Hope that’s somehow helpful πŸ™‚

Please open a new topic in the future, it’s easier for us to archive topics and other users to look for answers, thanks for your understanding!

Was unsure if this was support or just “discussion”. Thank you, Ying. Feel free to rephrase and make the last digression and make a stand-alone, new topic.

I disagree if we are talking about content organization. But hey, that is just me πŸ™‚ Thank you, Ying.

You are welcome to open feature requests in GP and GB’s Github πŸ™‚

If there are enough feature requests, we will consider adding that feature!
