Formatting issues and content missing - GeneratePress Premium + Elementor Pro

Having some serious formatting issues with my website - https://www.cleardesign.studio/ . I'm using Elementor Pro and GeneratePress Premium. The site looks fine on the back end but as soon as I publish it large gaps appear, images are removed and the formatting is ruined. Please see the 'Case Studies' and 'Logo Design' pages as good examples.
I have tried disabling other plugins, no luck. I've tried deactivating GeneratePress and re-activating it but this has made it worse. I have also tried restoring an old backup but this doesn't seem to be working.

Update: when I deactivate Autoptimize some of the formatting issues go away. However, even with this plugin disabled there are still clear issues with the content at the bottom of this page - http://www.cleardesign.studio/services/logo-design

the content is built with Elementor - which GP has no control over. Which particular section is the problem - happy to take a look and advise.
