Formatted text in excerpt

is it possible to have formatted text in the excerpt text on an archive page?

It's possible but with limitations.

If the content elements have inline CSS styles then that should carry over but contents styled with plugins may not work. The latter part may depend on what plugin/s your site is using. :D

Maybe i could do it with some php? A filter?

Or can i limit the number of words in “show full content” ? Also - maybe with some php?
