Force Locally Hosted Fonts

i think what Tom meant is; you need to rename the Font that is being served locally so it is NOT the same as the original Google font name.

Sorry, for misunderstanding and thanks for clarifying.

Renaming the font to "Hind Local" like an example, solved the issue and the Google Font no longer defaulted. Will, there be a permanent solution to this or should I go ahead and make similar changes to all my sites that host Google Fonts locally?

I'll be sure to fix this. However, it's not a bad idea to do this with all of your local fonts anyways.
