I have 3 footer widgets.
Customise / Layout / Footer Widgets is set to 3
Pages are all set to Global Footer Widget Settings
When I customise, I can see the widgets but as soon as I come out of customisation they disappear. Am I missing a step?March 18, 2016 at 7:33 am #180078Yvonne
UPDATE: I logged out of WordPress and viewed the site on 3 different browsers. They’re all showing 2 of the widgets. Could it be that it’s just taking some time to catch up with what I’ve changed?March 18, 2016 at 9:00 am #180096Yvonne
UPDATE: The third widget has just appeared 🙂 It isn’t on 2 lines though like the way I typed it so I’ve just ticked the box next to Automatically add paragraphs. Should this make the text appear on 2 lines please?March 18, 2016 at 9:03 am #180097Yvonne
It’s now on 2 lines but it isn’t white :/March 18, 2016 at 9:21 am #180104TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperMarch 18, 2016 at 9:27 am #180106Yvonne
I think I have WP supercache but I’ve logged out now because I’ve sent the email you requested so that you can take a look.March 18, 2016 at 9:31 am #180109TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
I’m seeing all three widgets lined up as they should be.
I would flush your cache in WP Super Cache and deactivate the plugin until you’re done developing – it can be super frustrating developing with a caching plugin activated.March 18, 2016 at 9:38 am #180113Yvonne
They’re lined up now but the text in widget 3 isn’t white. Do you think this will fix itself if I temporarily disable the caching plugin?March 18, 2016 at 9:40 am #180114TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Ah, try setting your footer widget colors to white.
Go to “Customize > Colors > Footer Widget Colors” and set “Text” to white 🙂March 18, 2016 at 9:41 am #180115Yvonne
The text’s already set to whiteMarch 18, 2016 at 9:44 am #180116TomLead DeveloperLead Developer
Are you using a plugin called Easy Google Fonts? I believe it’s adding CSS that is conflicting with GP.
That plugin shouldn’t be necessary if you have the Typography add-on activated 🙂March 18, 2016 at 9:49 am #180117Yvonne
That worked! Thanks again Tom 🙂March 18, 2016 at 9:50 am #180120
