I have created 3 widgets to be added in the footer of the website but all of them only displayed on the pages, not posts. I have checked all the setting for individual posts all are set to take default widget setting which I set in theme customization as Global use of 3 widgets.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
do you have any Layout Elements set to disable them?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/
If thats not the case check for:
1. Child theme functions or post templates
2. Plugin conflictsDocumentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/

I haven’t created any child theme nor created any elements but still facing same issue not sure what is the real cause for the same and there seems no plugin setting. Please suggest what is the root cause

StaffCustomer SupportLooks like the entire footer is removed and I don’t see any obvious reasons here.
Have you tried disable all plugins to eliminate any conflicts?

StaffCustomer SupportSo you are sure that you have no layout element created right?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/If so can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and activate the parent theme if you are using a child theme?

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not able to debug without disabling all plugins for a certain amount of time unfortunately.
Can you duplicate the current setup on a staging site so we can go through some debugging steps?
There is no other way unfortunately.
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
There is nothing in your Footer Widget areas.
If you go to “Appearance > Widgets” and add widgets into those areas, they should display.
Let us know π

Well I just removed the Footer widgets and added new using the Elementor which you can see just below the pages course and blogging tools but not below the posts.
But still, the copyright Footer created through theme is also not displayed below the posts and categories that is where the investigation needed.August 1, 2020 at 3:12 pm #1384313Leo
StaffCustomer SupportI can see the footer/copyright section when I view Blogging Tools, Course and About page.
The issue is only in single posts and it’s very unlikely a theme issue.
Can you create a staging site for us so we can go through some debugging steps?
Thanks!
