Footer Widget Is stuck having (edit) text in the bar

Please help me.
I have created a widget for my footer and the one im using is the social icons. When i make a facebook or twitter icon and put in my url for the link then save. At the bottom under the icon it says edit. I have done everything i can to try to fix this even used your plugin ...Lightweight social icons and those still dont have the icon looking the way they do with the regular gp theme...I would like to know how to remove the edit from the footer widget...
