Footer that cycles through quotes

I'd like to have a footer that cyles through five or six quotes, changing every 8 seconds or so. How do I implement this?
I'd rather not have to changing the CSS manually, but I guess I will if I have to....

Hi there,
We don't have any functionality like that here with GP, but if you do a search for a content slider plugin you should be able to find something that will work for you.
Just make sure you can slide/fade through content with the plugin (not just images), and that it provides a shortcode which you can add to your widget.
