Footer text does not update

I edited the Footer text in "Elements" and customized the colours for that too. Still it doesn't update the text I edited and shows nothing else than "@2023". The colours are working, but the text is missing. I didn't use emojis or anything like that (read the previous support with headline "footer text doesn't update". What should I do? I'm using the site called "Coach".

Hi there,

do you have any caches on the site ? If so can you clear them or disable them.
Let me know

Hi, I checked all caches with online instructions and I didn't find any, except the browser history and that is cleared. What is the next step?

Could i get an admin login to take a closer look ?

Can you please tell me how?

So just making sure, I have to give my username and password? How can I use temporary login, when I don't have an e-mail address where send it to? Please, give me very simple instructions, I'm new with this!

You can create a new admin user using the support@generatepress.com email address, then share the WP admin login URL and password with us using the private info field.

Here it is! Thank you for your help

Hi Minna,

I tried resaving it and it seems to be appearing now. Can you check?

Yes, now the text is showing, great! But now the colour update doesn't work. There is the default colour and not the ones I have picked in Customize. Can you help please?

Should it help that I deactivate it, or do I have to do something else additionally, to disable Gutenberg? And how do I know which plugins are related to GP and which are not?

Leave the Gutenberg plugin deactivated as it will conflict with other plugins.
You also need to deactivate the Classic Editor + plugin as that is removing the block editor.

The Plugins that are related to GeneratePress are:

GeneratePress Premium
GenerateBlocks

I deactivated every plugin, except GeneratePress Premium and GenerateBlocks, but it didn't work. The colours are still the same. What should I do next?
