Footer Not Showing Up on Home Page

Hello,
I created a custom footer in Elementor.
Got the short code and pasted it into the before footer content on the GP Hooks page.
I am not seeing the Footer on the home page and I cannot figure out what I could have done.

Hi Kevin,
that's because the Elementor Canvas strips out all of the theme Hooks. Instead of using canvas you can use the Layout metabox on the default template:

You can disable the Elements you don't need and set the Page Builder Container to full width.
