Hi,
I've only started using GP recently so I am not an expert yet and my issue might be solved easily, thus I have been trying for hours and coulden't solve it. The problem is that my Footer Menu (that I created in Appearance-->Menus) and selected as secundary Menu is displayed on my website in the Top Bar Section. In the Menu section of the customiser for GP I selected in the positioning of the Menu this secundary Menu as Footer. Unfortunately it still shows in the Top Bar.
Any suggestions?

Hi, thanks Leo for your message. Yes I am using WP super Cache. I deactivated it and cleared the cache and still my menu shows on the very top bar instead of in the footer area.
Other suggestions?

Hi there,

try this instead:

1. Go to Customizer > Widgets > Footer Bar
2. Add a Navigation Widget to the Footer Bar
3. In the Nav widget select the footer menu you have created.

Hi David,

thank you for your quick reply.
What you have described works but I am not 100% happy with this solution. The problem ist that the Footer Menu is now displayed from top to bottom with the menu points underneath each other. What I would like is to have the menu points next to each other in a row and for them to be in the very bottom section of the page. (the part where the Powered by Generate Press sign is placed at the moment).
Is that possible ?

Kind regards

Sounds like you've added the widget in the footer widgets area, can you try the footer bar widget area?

It worked! Thank you so much!! :)

No problem :)
