Hey guys, how can I change the color of my menu text so that I have a different color in the footer than I set in the primary navigation colors in the customizer. I can’t seem to get anything to work to override those settings. I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter. Thanks in advance! ZealousHomes.com

    Hi Wayne,

Are you referring to this section here?

If so that actually looks like a Footer element – you can check under Appearance > Element.

If that’s the case then you can just edit the color of each headline block:

Let me know if this helps 🙂

Hey Leo, thanks for responding. Actually I was meaning to refer to the navigation block at the bottom of the footer. It is in a lighter shade of blue than the background. I do not yet have an element built. I redesigned that footer from the pattern library. But when I added the navigation component, it wants to keep the same color scheme that I have in the header menu, set in the customizer. I’d like to change the colors of the navigation menu to match the rest of the footer design. So, not a headline issue, a navigation issue, perhaps I wasn’t clear.

The navigation block is inside a GB’s container block so the color options in the container block should work:

Thank you Leo, I am totally a Noob when it comes to GeneratePress. It was rendering correctly on the live site, just not in the backend editor. Thanks for helping me see what I was missing! You guys have been great so far!
