there has been a small change in wordpress it seems:
Documentation says:
"Then, go to Appearance > Widgets and drag the Custom Menu widget into the Footer Bar widget area."

Custom Menu widget is not available -> but a widget called Navigation Menu. Maybe it was renamed.
Don't know how specific you like to keep your documentation ;) - but as i just did that i wanted to let you know.

Hi, is there a way to change the background color of the footer bar on the website https://universityever.com? the current color is the default one and needs to change according to the theme color.

Hi @kmarnob,

You should be able to change the background of the footer bar on Appearance > customize > Colors > Footer. You should see a sub section for "Footer bar" there.
