1. Okay, the json_parse_error seems to be gone, but the changes are still not saving.
2. What will a cache plugin really do for my site?
1. Can you make sure you are not saving it as a draft? I also still see WP Super Cache activated.
Can you try clearing and disabling it for now?
2. This really isn't a question that the theme support should answer. You can try asking the plugin support or there are lots of articles on Google explaining it as well.
Okay, all are disabled except for Generate Press.
I put "abcd" in the footer just to test.
Do you see the change in customizer preview?
Are other settings working?
I see in the preview, but not on the regular site.
Other settings?
That is very strange. When something works in customizer preview but not live site, almost always it's a caching issue.
Can you confirm that you are clicking Publish to save the customizer changes and not anything else?
Are you using a child theme?
Are other settings (like colors, typography) working on the live site?
Yes on Publish.
No Child Theme.
All other is working.
I can always try changing the cache plugin.
Do you think it has anything to do with the container settings at the footer?
*Man! Everything I read online about cache is that I have to have it...
Can you send me the dashboard access with all plugins except GP Premium disabled?
You can send the dashboard access using Account Issue here:

Please include the following information:

– Login URL.
– Username and password.
The Pre-sale question contact form?
Sure that would work as well.
I downloaded another type of cache plugin - one that is from Automatic. I'll see how this works and get back to you.
Best to test without any caching plugin.
Just make sure to clear them before disabling them.
